Overview

Xmas Lemmings 1991 is a Christmas-themed edition of the fun and classic Lemmings, also developed by DMA Design. Here, you will help these cute and resourceful rodents to get through snowy and challenging levels.

Basically the aim is to get the lemmings out of the level, by guiding them toward the exit (the object with the flickering lanterns) from the entrance (the trap door they appear from). Lemmings are very stupid, needing lots of assistance in the task, but they have several different modes (learn how to select these in the Controls’ section on this page).

We have here the original MS-DOS version of the Xmas Lemmings 1991 that is set to be loaded and played directly in your browser, without the need to install or setup. Please note that this was made a 4-level demonstration of Lemmings, an “unique mind-boggling game of adventure, romance and salvation”.

F2: New Level (enter access code to access a new level)
F4: Selects new input type (presents menu for selection)
↑: Changes Rating to higher level
↓: Changes Rating to lower level

Left Mouse Button: Select (if mouse is selected as input type)
Right Mouse Button: Auxiliary (if mouse is selected as input type)
F1: Increases the release rate

F5: Selects Exploder
F6: Selects Blocker
F7: Selects Builder
F8: Selects Basher
F9: Selects Miner
F10: Selects Digger
F11: Pauses (Paws)
F12: Armageddon (Blows up all lemmings and abandons level)
Z: Moves Panel selector Left
X: Moves Panel selector Right
ESC: Abandons level
