Overview
Commando (戦場の狼) is a multidirectional shooter developed and released by Capcom in 1985 for the arcades, originally. It influenced several games like Rambo: First Blood Part II, Jackal, Gun.Smoke, Ikari Warriors, Trax, Who Dares Wins, Heavy Barrel etc. It also spawned two sequels, Mercs (1990) and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3 (2008). What we have here is a remake in Flash of the Commodore 64 version of this classic run and gun.
In Commando, you are the soldier named Super Joe, who starts by being dropped off in a jungle by a helicopter, who armed with a sub-machine gun and a supply of hand grenades, has to fight his way out against a massive enemy army.
The game was ported to flash by Tav.
