Overview

Contra: Snowfield Battle is a cool Flash remake of Contra (魂斗羅), the classic 1987 run and gun action game by Konami.

Its gameplay, graphics and sound effects are pretty similar of the original NES cartridge, but it only has two levels.

Nevertheless it is a pretty good and challenging game.

Attention: to start a game, you have to be fast, otherwise the game will just turn into a black rectangle. As soon as the title screen appears, click on the play arrow, then on “Ok” and then on “Go!”. It has to be fast! If not, refresh the page (F5) and try again. Another option that seems to work sometimes is to wait for the “Server busy…” message to appear in the upper right corner of the title screen before trying to start a game.
