Overview

Raiden II is a shoot ’em up developed by Seibu Kaihatsu and originally released in 1994 to the arcades where you’ll you must fight hundreds of enemy crafts and this time destroy them for good.

Here we have the online version of Raiden II (US, set 2), which can be played in your browser.

The events of the direct sequel to the first Raiden and the second entry in the series of the same name, happen three years after the alien invasion was crushed and the few survivors fled back to space where they came from. Now they have returned with bigger numbers and weapons.

Controls

  • Arrow Keys: Move
  • Button Y: S (Shoots)
  • Button B: X (Special bomb)
  • Insert Coin: Shift
  • Start: Enter
  • Attention: These controls are default for Player 1. Hover your mouse into the lower part of the screen and a control bar will show up. Click on the gamepad icon and set the Player 2 controls if you want to play Raiden II with a friend.
  • These default controls can be changed in-game.
